About unlimited...it has hints of the games in it like chocobo's but i dont think it should have been called final fantasy.Its kind of a spirited away with violence,a strange man with a gold gun that uses sand to summon >.< oh,and the little girl gets a bag with teeth!

Sort of like Spirits Within then? Using the name Final Fantasy to make people buy/watch it?

Spirits Within was good... At that point, there were no Final Fantasy sequels, so each game had a completely different storyline. In which case, I can't understand why people complain that it had nothing to do with the other games...

People complain about spirits within because the plot and setting were completely untypical of a ff title rather than because it was unlinked to the games... but more so because it was weak, the story was boring, the characters were boring, the music was boring, everything about it was boring compared to a proper ff story.

Put it this way, advent children was a masterpiece compared to spirits within, the only good thing about spirits within was it looked AMAZING other than that, it sucked.

I'm sure Square don't think it was good or a bright spot - it put them in the red for years...
